This is Pico, 17 years of pure sweetness and gentleness. ❤️🐾

Despite his age and the challenges life has placed before him (Pico is blind and deaf), he teaches us every day what it means to adapt with courage and serenity.

Since arriving at our shelter, he has learned to understand the space around him, to orient himself, and to feel at home. At his own pace, with incredible determination, he settled in beautifully, winning the hearts of every one of us.

And then there’s his funniest side: when he sleeps, he often lets his little tongue peek out, gifting us with an adorable, blissful blep that never fails to make us smile.

Pico is living proof that sweetness, affection, and the desire to live have no age and no limits. Every day he reminds us how special our senior friends truly are.
